Saw this on a friend's post earlier and it was just repeated on the radio. With all the talk of bite stats (which are really not a good indicator of anything) I think it is quite appropriate....
So, insurance rates across the province are set to skyrocket next week because Newfoundlanders are twice as likely to get into an accident than anywhere else in Canada.
"Let's ban all Newfoundlanders from driving."
"Think of the safety of the children..."
"Think of the safety of the public..."
Sounds stupid doesn't it?
Why the heck is this even a discussion when talking about pit bulls?
