One on One Behavior Modification

bronx

The best way to handle specific issues is to contact me to set up a one on one session with your family and your dog.

With a one on one, I come to your house (if you live in the St. John's Metro Area) or we can make arrangements to meet in St. John’s (if you live outside the metro area).  I meet you are your dog and see the dynamics that are going on.  During this in-depth assessment I get to know you and your dog, how a typical day is shaped and the type and quality of the interactions that occur.  Through this process, a behavior modification plan is developed.

The visit normally lasts between an hour to an hour and a half.  It costs $120.  The number of visits needed to address the concerns depend on the nature of the concerns and the severity of the issues.  For most issues, all that is needed is one or two visits to set the foundation and get things on the right track.  People normally supplement the one on one with activities like group obedience classes, doggy daycare and the group walks that I run every weekend.  These steps will be discussed in the initial one on one.

The goal of the one on one is to help your family set the foundation for a positive healthy relationship between you and your dog.  It requires work, dedication and consistency.  However, if you are prepared for this, the results happen quickly.

Live too far away to be seen in person?  I can still help!

I do FaceTime consults with clients across the country.  These consults are similar to the in home one on ones.  We discuss what you are experiencing and talk about a behavior modification plan.  After the call, I will send you an individualised behavior modification plan based on the call.  My clients have met with trememdous success dealing with their issues using this method.

If you are wondering if a one on one is right for you and your dog, see the success stories portion of this website.  Many of the personal accounts listed here started off with a one on one.  As you will hear me repeat on these pages, no dog is too difficult to handle, no situation too intense to be changed.
