So the old webpage is gone…it served me well the last number of years but the service was phased out and it was time to upgrade. I have been posting "files" and write ups on the "For the Love of Dogs" group for a while now but wanted somewhere to collect all of these writings. Facebook is great for sharing information but at times, the information is cycled off the page and I find myself answering the same things over and over again. Now I can refer people to this section of the website.
Now as my first official blog, a big welcome to all. Thank you for visiting this site. To all my students past and present, I am truely honored to share in the training of your pups. I LOVE seeing healthy bonds form between dogs and their owners. I love seeing owners doing things with their dogs that they never felt possible. I feel very fortunate to have met all of you and your pups and I thank you for the opportunity to share my knowledge and my training with you. To all the For the Love of Dogs peeps….you have no idea how impressive it is to see a group that size walk the trails together. What is even more impressive is the diversity of the dogs and owners on the walks. How many people pass us and I hear them say "I wish my dog could be like that"…I always respond "it can, with a little work, time and patience"…if those people only knew each of our dogs before the training, before the walks…it is truely inspirational.
So again, thank you all and I will see you in class, out on the walks, or out on the trails.
