Dante is a 5 year old mix. He is approximately 50 pounds. He recently came into the caare of Heavenly Creatures after his owner left him abandon in a padlocked kennel for two years. Apparently, Dante survived relying on the kindness of strangers until he was apprehendded by the RCMP (you can see his living conditions in the pictures). He is currently staying at Topsailstar Pet Center.
We are still assessing his temperment but he seems like a great dog. He has attended class, does not show much interest in the other dogs but worked well with Sarita. He did not know his basic commands but by the end of the class, was nailing the sit and the heel.
Dante will need a little time to warm up to new surroundings and owners but he was adapted quite well at Topsailstar.
